Dirk Kuyt

The Dutch forward was signed from Feyenoordin the summer of 2006 and quickly became a cult hero at the club. Blessed with tremendous stamina and incredible work rate he became a key member of the first team under different managers at the club.

His scoring record may not look great as he scored only 51 goals in 208 appearances but his performances on the pitch compensated for his lack of goals

Peter Crouch

The tall lanky striker is the surprise name on the listgiven that he spent three seasons at the club but he was able to conjure some moments if magic at the club. His hatvtrick against Arsenal is fondly remembered as he displayed a mix of technical and creative brilliance for all three goals.

He was also a menace to defences with his height as many clubs found it difficult to deal with the forward.

Fernando Torres

The Spaniard fondly called El Nino was one of the best signings in the Rafa Benitez era. Gifted with pace and impeccable finishing the Spain international was the Archetypal number nine for the club. Luis Suarez

It was a close call between Fernando Torrey and Luis Suarez but the Uruguay international edges it with the level of dependency of the team on him. Suarez was a character Liverpool fans loved due to his never say die attitude and his eye for goal. In his three seasons at the club, Suarez would score 69 goals in 110 matches winning the PFA player of the year in his last season with the club
